This week and next week, the 2020 postponed world-wide General Conference of the United Methodist Church is meeting in Charlotte, North Carolina. Please be in prayer for positive and fruitful outcomes from this meeting. I have concerns about political and personal agendas for some of the delegates. It has honestly been very difficult for me to agree with some of the decisions of General Conferences in the past years and I expect that that will be true once again. I am simply doing what Jesus has asked of his followers and that is to trust in God and to trust Him (John 14:1) as I wait to learn more about the outcomes of the General Conference. This Sunday in Worship we will continue the sermon series "Love's Redeeming Work is Done" and we will focus on the third appearance of the risen Lord to the disciples in John 21;1-14. The Celebration Children's Choir and Handbell Choir will be a part of the worship service
