Men's Prayer Breakfast
Men of all ages Gather for Prayer and Devotional, We meet every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month at Johnny B's resturant.
Johnny B's is located at 224 East 6 th Street in Downtown Texarkana, AR.

FUMC Story Society
FUMC Story Society is a book club that meets the frst Friday of each month in the church parlor. We enjoy lunch provided by volunteers and discuss a book we have read. Each month, we choose a new book to read and discuss, Everyone is welcome.

Blue Group
Blue group is a Ladies Bible Study and Community group. We meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesday each month at 1:30-3:00 in the Charlie's Angels Suday School Room for study and fellowship. We vary on Bible study books and topics. Each study is 5-8 sessions and we select them togther. We meet September through May.

Chancel Choir
Principal Choir of the Church that sings and leads in worship on Sunday mornings and for Seasonal Services. Highschool students through Adults of all ages, with a gift of singing are invited and welcomed!

Chancel Handbells
The Chancel Handbell Chior is comprised of eleven to thirteen individuals who enjoy ringing English Handbells together. Some musical background is helpful, and we are willing to train interested individuals. Highschool Students through adults of all ages are invited and welcomed!

Celebration Chior
Celebration Chior is the Children's Chior of First UMC. Second through sixth grades with a gift of singing, and who want to learn more about singing, are invited and welcomed! Celebration Chior members also participate in celebration Ringers.
They sing once a month during the school year, and also for seasonal services.

Celebration Ringers
Celebration Ringers is comprised of children in the second to sixth grades. They learn the art of handbell ringing, and play in Worship two to four times a year. Celebration ringers also participate in Celebration Chior.
